Sad news Winner and top 3 challenge #154

It is with Great Sadness that I must share the news that “Ike” Sue” Owner of this Challenge Blog passed away in the early hours of Thursday 28th April.

Sue put up a brave fight for the last two years but sadly lost the battle.

Our Thoughts and Prayers are with her Family at this difficult time.

She was a remarkable talented lady, being her friend, and a member on her design team, was an honour, Sue was a very kind and generous and would help anybody.

She loved her design team and let us have as many of her wonderful digi stamps as we wanted. She treated us like family

R.I.P. Sue, we are lucky to have been able to call you our friend as well as our Team Leader.

Sue started the blog October 2013

I am sad now to have to close it today.

Ike would have wanted me to select a winner and the top three they are as follows.

Thank you to all our players, and now it's onto the Winner and Top 3 from Challenge #154 Anything Goes with an option of Include an Animal/Crazy Critters.

  15. This is such devastating news. Ike was one of the first people that I ever 'met' when I first started online back in 2012 and I was honoured by her friendship throughout the years. She became a member of the first design team I created and I was on her first team when she started this challenge back in 2013. When I'd email her every so often to check and see how she was faring these past two years she always put up a brave front. And to have died just one week shy of her birthday, well that just makes it sadder. She sent me an Alice in Wonderland themed pop up card one year for my birthday and I have it displayed in our hutch. I think fondly of her every time I see it but now it will be something I will always treasure as a memory from our friendship. My condolences go out to her daughter, grandchildren and other family members (as well as all the many cats, chickens and other animals she cared for) who must be at such a loss without her in their lives. Rest with the angels now my friend. Hugs, Lisa

  19. I am completely stunned and shocked - While I haven't been a personal friend of Ike's I have watched her fight her brave battle from afar. Also, she had been a huge supporter of the Cat Lovers Blog Hop, and she & I shared a mutual love of all things cats. May she rest in peace, finally seeing all those friends, family & pets who have been waiting for her. I send all those who loved her condolences. <3
